What you will need: Scanlines-Diagonals

Step 1

Open up a new document like mine below. Then click ok.

Step 2

Grab your text tool, and write your text. When done play with the kern and make every letter a different color from your color scheme.

Step 3

Now right click on your text layer in the layer palette and click on blending options.Click on "stroke". Size "2" and color "white". Now click on "pattern overlay". Blend mode "Softlight", Opacity "30%" and select the "white diagonal lines". Then click on "inner glow". Blend mode "screen" opacity "100%" color "white" technique "precise" source "center" choke "5" size"90". Click ok.

Step 4

Make a new layer and move it under your text layer. On your text layer click CTRL+E and you will see the text layer is merged with the blank layer and now is a new layer.

Step 5

Go to blending options. Then "stroke".Size "2" fill type "gradient" and then choose the gradient that matches your text. Style "linear" angle "0" scale "100%" Click ok.

Step 6

Repeat step 4.

Step 7

Now go to blending options again, "stroke" size "1" fill type "pattern" and select the scanlines. Go to "drop shadow" angle "0" distance "0" size "5". Click ok.
